IMMORTALIZING CORY

Cory Aquino made a great impact on the nation she helped rebuild. With the peaceful People Power Revolution, she brought back Democracy and Freedom to our country and gave the people a new glimpse of hope. It also inspired other nations to emulate bringing about a new era of change. During her administration, trust and confidence with the government returned and these paved the way for thecountry’s growth. Lives have been changed for the better. Hope has beenrestored in the Filipino spirit. 

At the time of her passing, the Filipino people felt the great loss of a mother and benevolent leader. Nevertheless, her legacy of Democracy and Freedom was once again reaffirmed and reignited. 

With this, Julie’s Bakeshop, in their own small way, want to immortalize Madam Cory Aquino and remind the people how important she was in all their lives. The introduction of the Cory Bread is a simple gesture of Julie’s Bakeshop’s paying homage to a great leader and mother of democracy. Shaped like the famed CoryYellow Ribbon, people would always be reminded of the woman that she was and be reminded of the cause that she stood for, fought for and finally died for, sot hat every Filipino will not only be reminded of her constant graciousness and greatness, but be inspired to emulate such patriotism and devotion.
