Choco Streusel Cake Pops: A Decadent Valentine’s Treat
Valentine’s is right around the corner! Are you ready with your Valentine’s gift?
If the answer is no, here’s a bit of advice: bake. They say food is one of the sincerest love languages, and that it can lead you straight to the heart of someone you love. So, here’s a recipe to add to a box of chocolates or make into a sweet bouquet!
All you really need is a few chocolatey ingredients, and a few pieces of one of Julie’s Bakeshop’s newest creations, the Choco Streusel!
CHOCOLATE ON CHOCOLATE DECADENCE
The Choco Streusel, with its striking orange hue, can be described as Choco Butternut in Pandesal form. However, there’s so much more chocolatey flavor, with its drizzle of chocolate syrup on top and rich chocolate filling inside.
But why stop there? You can never get enough of that chocolatey goodness, so why not add even more this Valentine’s? This recipe breaks the bread apart and turns it into cute and easy-to-eat cake pops to gift your special someone!
So, instead of buying a gift, put in the work and make one? This recipe requires no baking whatsoever, with only a few ingredients used and a few minutes to make.
INGREDIENTS:
NOTE: This recipe makes three (3) servings
- 3 pieces Choco Streusel
- 1 Milk Chocolate Bar
- 1 White Chocolate Bar
- Vermicelli (sprinkles)
- Toasted Cashew Nuts
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Cut Choco Streusel into four pieces by cutting in a cross-like position. After that, mold them into balls.
2. Next, melt some milk chocolate by double boiling or putting the chocolate bar inside the microwave. Same procedure goes when melting the White Chocolate bar.
3. When completely liquified, dip in the Choco streusel balls, making sure to coat them completely. Optionally, you may also dip the Choco Streusel balls on sticks to make dipping easier.
4. For toppings, either: sprinkle on some colored sprinkles; or drizzle in the white chocolate and top it off with some cashews.
5. Set aside to allow the chocolate to harden, then enjoy this fun, chocolate treat!
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
To save time, you may also try looking for pre-melted Milk Chocolate, or White Chocolate syrup
